Access, transport and accommodation

The Festival takes place in Lausanne’s centrally located Cité quarter.

PEDESTRIAN ACCESS

Being in the Cité quarter means being at the Festival. All you need do when coming to the Festival is head for Lausanne cathedral – and there you are at the heart of the action.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Metro
From Lausanne railway station (around 20 minutes’ walk): M2 to Croisettes, alight at Riponne-Maurice Béjart or Bessières.
Approx. every 6 minutes.

Bus
From St-François: bus 6 to Sallaz, alight at Bessières. Approx. every 10 minutes.
From Lausanne-Flon: bus 22 to Clochatte, alight at Bessières. Approx. every 10 minutes.

Night Taxibus
Perimeter of TL zones 11 and 12, i.e. Epalinges-Renens-Lutry-Ecublens-EPFL. Board at St-François, Georgette, Chauderon, Bel-Air, railway station.
Every 20 minutes between midnight and 1.20 a.m.
Book by calling 0800 805 805 no later than 30 minutes ahead. Supplement of CHF 4 payable to the driver.

Pyjama Bus
Travels between Flon and more than 80 neighbouring municipalities on Friday and Saturday nights between 1 and 4 a.m.

Train 
Last mainline trains from Lausanne Sun-Thu:

• Yverdon-Neuchâtel-Bienne: 0.15 a.m.
• Vevey-Montreux-Sion: 11.20 p.m.
• Fribourg-Berne: 11.47 p.m.
• Morges-Nyon-Geneva: 0.51 a.m.

Last mainline trains from Lausanne, Fri & Sat:

• Yverdon-Neuchâtel-Bienne: 0.15 a.m.
• Vevey-Montreux-Sion: 3.12 a.m.
• Fribourg-Berne: 1.30 a.m.
• Morges-Allaman-Nyon-Geneva: all night

Festivalgoers coming by car can use the following central underground parking facilities: Riponne, Valentin and Rôtillon.
