What if rap could rid itself of certain macho clichés and give greater recognition to dialects? Butterflyca answers this question. This hip-hop project, which brings together Léa on beats and Silja on lyrics, has its roots in Berne, where the duo honed their skills, notably with their acolytes from the label and collective Forcefield records. The Festival de la Cité is betting that Butterflyca and its self-tuned Mundart tracks will prove once again that the roestigraben is just an abstract notion.
