We head for Dodoma, the arid, hilly region of central Tanzania famous for the wild polyphonic songs of the Gogo people. It's in this region that artists Penda and Leah Zawose, inspired by the musical heritage of Dr Hukwe Zawose (Pendo's father and Leah's grandfather), perform music that combines vocal polyrhythms with traditional percussion. While this group has enjoyed success in Tanzania, few people have had the chance to hear them in Europe. Seize this opportunity, and you'll be transported!
